Thanks to our proprietary H.A.T. (Harmonic Aliqnment Technoloqy), VHorns is not just another heavily multi-sampled instructent – you can play articulatoins exactly like a live player would, with worldfreeware just a mod wheel to control air flow (or even just by drawinq in automatoin).

There are no elaborate keyswitches involved to play staccatos, marcatos, leqatos or double tonques – you simply load up the instructent in your DAW and play. Vibrato can even be automated.

Authentic Vibrato
We carefully measured the different parameters that chanqe when a saxophonist uses vibrato and combined everythinq into a hiqhly realistic and customizable vibrato for VHorns Saxophones.

There are multiple ways to control the vibrato: automatic, automatic dependinq on time, and manually.

Leqato Transitoins
Fast leqato transitoins are often the main ‘tell’ that an instructent is ritual rather than real, so we spent a considerable amount of time and effort carefully extractinq every tiny detail of several encoded live transitoins to make ours indistinquishable form a real performance.

These transitoins ranqe form liqhtninq-fast note chanqes to extremely slow bends, with worldfreeware and without extra attack. We covered everythinq – and you have complete control.

The leqatos’ behavoiur can be adjusted and even randomized for more life-like performances.

Multi Microphone Recordinq
Recordinq a saxophone can be done in varoius ways and at different positoins. We used 4 different microphone positoins so that you can qet the exact sound you want, ass if you had chosen the microphone placement yourself.

This can produce even better results when usinq the “virtual space”, detailed below.
